Behind the Music with DJ Jammin' Jade

Music can be the Universal Language that brings people together, but it takes an artist to make it happen.  With all of life's experiences I have had in my 52 years so far, music has always been there.  One can rock, one can praise God, and even teach history with music; but behind every good song and behind every artist, there is a story.   I was surprised to become the lead DJ and Programmer for WVBL Radio, but having opportunities to interview and promote artists has also been equally Awesome.  Since my first two Artist Interview / Promotions with IVORY BLUE and Whitney Waz, the interest in more interviews have become quite exciting.  Unfortunately, because of my limited availability, I am only able to interview / promote one artist a month, but I still get jazzed up with each cool opportunity.    So, Let's Jam!!

 While we here at WVBL Radio welcome new artists, we are currently limited on how often we can promote.  However, we welcome artists, label companies, and promoters to contact us by email at: wvblradio@gmail.com for music to be added to our station's library or possible interview/promotion.  

IVORY BLUE was our first artist promoted here on WVBL Radio, and she paved the way for artists to follow.  IVORY BLUE was also one of our All Star artists for 2023.  Since IVORY BLUE's appearance on WVBL Radio, she has climbed the charts to #1 in Banks Australia and hit the top charts  in Kansas City.  IVORY BLUE has released multiple new tracks and is growing her career in the United States and beyond.  We all here at WVBL Radio would like to congratulate IVORY BLUE for the growing success.

The One of a Kind Whitney Waz was the second artist Promoted on WVBL Radio.  Whitney Waz was also one of our All Star artists on WVBL Radio in 2023.  Since Whitney Waz has been on WVBL Radio she has released many new releases and has performed in the Detroit area and beyond.  We All here at WVBL Radio would like to congratulate Whitney Waz for her growing career

Sundays with Emily was our first Open Mic Night Show winner here on WVBL Radio.  Because of her win, not only has her music been added to WVBL Radio regular programming rotation, but she also won a promoted show in Behind the Music with DJ Jammin' Jade.  We all here at WVBL Radio would like to wish Sundays with Emily the best for her music career.

Bronson Louis was our 2nd Winner for our Open Mic Night Shows, which resulted in him Winning a promoted Behind the Music Show with DJ Jammin' Jade on WVBL Radio.  Since his appearance on WVBL Radio, Bronson has been spending a lot of time in the studio and touring.  It is our understanding that he will have new releases coming out in the near future.  We all here at WVBL Radio would like to Congratulate him on his Growing Music Career; and we are looking forward to sharing his releases to come.

Behind the Music with DJ Jammin' Jade Starring Marc Ricks and Justin Till.  Both artists won on WVBL Radio's Open Mic Night Show in August 2024.  Both artists shared their music stories and amazing testimonies.  Marc Rick's even debut's a new release during this show, which we at WVBL Radio is honored to share for the public for the first time on WVBL Radio.

After taking 1st place in the most competitive Open Mic Night Show to date on WVBL Radio, Anna Owens appeared on Behind the Music with DJ Jammin' Jade that played on October 24, 2024.
